Andrew Hyde is a publisher who has worked for the past eleven years at Cambridge University Press, where he oversees a number of journals in different fields, including Data & Policy, which the Press launched in collaboration with the Data for Policy Conference in 2020. He works closely with the Community Manager (Pinar Ozgen), the journal’s three Editors-in-Chief (Zeynep Engin, Stefaan Verhulst & Jon Crowcroft) and the wider editorial team on the development of the journal and how it can serve the growing community of this emerging field. He previously worked for the Public Library of Science (PLOS) and openDemocracy and has a long-term interest in Open Research and open-access models for knowledge dissemination.
