Miri Zilka

Miri Zilka is an Assistant Professor in Responsible Machine Learning at the University of Cambridge, focusing on high-stakes decision making in application areas such as criminal justice and social care where (i) decisions can be life-changing, (ii) individuals cannot opt out, (iii) protective legislation (e.g, GDPR) does not apply, and (iv) wrong predictions can cause significant harm. Previously, She was a Leverhulme Research Fellow. She holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Warwick, and an M.Sc. in Physics, and a dual B.Sc. in Physics and Biology from Tel Aviv University.
